We want you to be fully satisfied with every item that you purchase online from SmithGarcia Designs. If you are not satisfied with an item purchased online, you may return it within 15 days of delivery for a full refund of the purchase price, provided you give us advanced online notice of your planned return or email notice prior to your return shipping. This advance notice protects us both and begins the formal return tracking process. You must obtain a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) code prior to returning any product. You can secure the RMA code on-line by clicking here.

The item must be returned in new condition, in the original box and/or silk jewerly pouch and with all accessories to insure full credit. "New" means that there are no scratches, marks, or blemishes on the item; there are no signs of wear on the product. Shipping and delivery confirmation and/or insurance are your responsibility. United States Postal Service registered mail/confirmation of delivery; United Parcel Service (UPS), or Federal Express are the recommended return shipping methods to ensure third party tracking of your returned item. You own the returned item until it is physically in our hands and are responsible for its confirmed delivery before any refunds/credits are considered.

On items valued over $200 with advanced return notice and subject to our written agreement, we may either send you a pre-paid shipping label or include our agreed shipping cost amount as part of your refund. In certain cases, items over $200 may have a pre-printed return label included when shipped to you and a full 100% refund or credit will be made upon receipt of the returned item. We will advise you of the online tracking service to monitor delivery back to SmithGarcia Designs and we will send you an email confirmation upon receipt of your return package.

All items properly returned under this policy are eligible for a refund or a future purchase credit, at your option. If you choose a refund, the full purchase price minus any special handling fees (Fedex or Collect on Delivery, etc) not included in our free shipping will be paid by a commercial bank check made payable to the name of the purchaser on the shipping instructions only or credited to your PayPal account if you used PayPal as your payment method. If you elect a future purchase credit, then your credit will be in an amount equal to 115% of your origninal purchase price. The extra 15% is our way of saying thank you for continuing to shop with us and assist with your return shipping costs. If you do not use your credit within 60 days, then we will return 100% of origninal purchase price.

It takes 5-7 full business days to process your refund once the item is back in our possession. Business days are Monday-Friday, excluding federal holidays within the United States.
